Tile is fairly considered one of the most effective, solid and long-lasting floor coverings. It is used mainly for kitchens, bathrooms, and hall floor decoration though it also goes well for living rooms and bedrooms. The only tricky thing is that tile heat retention is rather low, and it is advisable to equip a tile-decorated bedroom or a living room with the floor heating system.

It is difficult to overestimate the advantages of delle use compared to other floor coverings. Firstly, tile has almost no rivals in durability, usability, water and temperature resistance. Though it is natural for tile to wear off due to galling when used in public places, in private houses the material can last for decades.

Secondly, carefully chosen tile can give a really stylish and polished look.

Today coloring of ceramic tile is so diverse that you can match it easily with every type of interior. Affordable tile of ceramic granite with special coating can imitate all types of natural stone from granite and marble to sandstone and malachite. Last years tile with prints imitating wood or metal has become more popular.

Lastly, in contrast to other floor coverings, tile is the least demanding. Simple cleaning with a wet cloth is enough to keep your tile covering ideally clean.

Disadvantages of tile include its relatively high price (compared to linoleum and carpet covering) and strict conditions of floor bed conditioning before tile paving. However, these disadvantages seem quite relative: there is no place for cut downs on interior finishing when it comes to your own house.
